Hemkund is a Sanskrit name derived from Hem (Snow) and Kund (bowl) which means “The Lake of Snow”.

The Hemkund is settled at 15000ft (4329 m) above the sea level which is surrounded by the seven great mountains and there is a holy lake as well which gets frozen in winters. A TRUE ENCOUNTER THAT SETS OUR HEART ON A RIGHT PATH WITH THE ”WORDS” OF SCRIPTURE, WHICH IS MESSIAH SPEAKING TO US.
