Instead, Christians are promised heaven. In Christianity, believers are not condemned to hell for a time. Jesus knew where he was going and where believers will go as well. Based on Jesus’ words, it is not possible to get to heaven through Islam. In Christianity, it is the martyrdom of Christ, not a believer, that assures heaven.
Both faiths are in agreement that to worship a false god will prevent such people from entering heaven. Sunnis believe that the Qur’an applies to all of life and that individuals can approach God directly and that he will present himself on Judgment Day. In fact, the word “Islam” literally means “submission” as in submission to the will of God. They also used the singular word El with a descriptive word or phrase to describe God’s characteristics. These branches started to develop after Muhammad’s death when people began to disagree on the successor of the religion. The black-robed monks of the Order invade the city during the night and seize power in Arkanar. For many believers, fasting is a way to demonstrate their devotion and surrender to a higher power. For example, while nine-in-ten of those in the historically black Protestant (92%) and evangelical (91%) traditions say they believe in God as described in the Bible, smaller majorities of mainline Protestants and Catholics say they have faith in the biblical God.1 Sizable minorities of Catholics (28%) and mainline Protestants (26%) say they believe in a higher power or spiritual force, but not in God as described in the Bible.

In the 1970s and 1980s, there were occurrences of ‘Islamic’ terrorism attributed to a group known as Komando Jihad. This changed, however, with the first recorded use of jihad during the Battle of Sarmada in 1119, where a united Muslim army under the Turkish warlord Ilghazi were victorious over Outremer’s force, destabilising the Principality of Antioch by killing their leader, Roger.
