Prayer, Politics, and God’s Love

God said He knows something they do not know. II (Baqara), V. 31: “And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: Tell me the nature of these if ye are right.” This is the education that we know and the knowledge that we have. God gave Adam knowledge and the names of all things. We also should understand that due to his knowledge and scientific quality mankind has superiority over the angels. The angels complained and asked God why He endowed human beings with a higher quality while He created human beings from mud and they are from “smoke-free fire”. By being unjust and foolish, human beings could gain two great characteristics – being just and knowledgeable if they wish. According to Hibbert and Horne36 givers may gain several benefits after donating, including self-esteem and satisfaction. A refugee may also be eligible for Temporary Protected Status (TPS). Giving and charitable donations, may promote happiness. The legitimacy of this act was indicated in the Holy Quran, detailed by the hadith of Prophet Muhammad (saw), and applied by the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them.

Jefferson also drafted the Virginia Statute for Establishing Religious Freedom, enacted in 1786, which he saw as one of his crowning achievements, asking that the Declaration of Independence, the University of Virginia, and the statute be the only things remembered on his memorial. Since independence, the Islamic leadership in Turkmenistan has been more assertive, but in large part it still responds to government control. Government meetings and events typically commence with two prayers, one Islamic and one Christian. To these Aristotelian concepts Aquinas added Christian convictions that God is loving, providential, and ruler of the universe. Second, most of the schools take Brahman to be what Jeffery D. Long calls a “theocosm”: (1) God and (2) a cosmos, meaning a universe/multiverse of all natural forms. What is the meaning of not decreasing in wealth? Imam An Nawawee explained in his work ‘Syarh Shahih Muslim,’ that: “The scholars mentioned that it means two things: First, the wealth will be blessed and protected from dangers. The personal sacrifice of giving one’s possessions, no matter how small, for the sake of helping those in needs is a blessing and means purifying our souls and wealth.

The Pacific conflict has been called a “war without mercy.” Allied troops’ ruthlessness was prompted by prewar racism and personal experience of the extraordinary viciousness of their opponents. God offered the “trust” to Heavens, the Earth and the Mountains, but they were afraid and therefore refused, but human beings accepted. “We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains, but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man undertook it; He was indeed unjust and foolish.” The Heavens, the Earth and the Mountains are seen as other creatures of God besides human beings. Despite the fact that many other creatures of God are stronger, heavier, bigger and harder than human beings (e.g., mountains, many animals, etc.) and are many times physically stronger than human beings, they do not have the talent and capacity of human beings to have the willpower and God-like attributes. To understand their value and rank in Islam, we should bear in mind that human beings are the trustees of God on earth while no other creature wanted to accept this responsibility. Human beings can act against their instinctive demand and nature while no other creature can.

XXXIII (Al Ahzab) means “willpower”, “authority”, Shariati.2 In comparison to other creatures, human beings have a distinctive quality which is will-power. It should be noted that human beings have a dualistic nature; one extreme is the spirit of God and the other, the lowest of the low, clay, quintessence of clay and dust. Actually, human beings were too ignorant to realize the responsibility associated with willpower. But God also gave human beings the willpower or His authority to choose the place they want to be. In this way they get the reward or can be punished depending on how they use His willpower and authority. It can be felt by senses, and habits. And one can imagine why: “Put a Wackwitz on it!” just doesn’t have the same ring. Consequently, they put themselves at risk of being punished or of being among those close to God or being on the straight path. Scientists have paid close attention to this asteroid’s path since it was first discovered in 2004. Initially, the chances of a potential impact in 2029 were relatively high at 2.7 percent. They have to be influenced by school education, friend’s company, television, books, magazines and radio programs. We do not call all other creatures of God (the Heavens, the Earth and the Mountains) unjust and foolish because they do not have the capacity of being just and knowledgeable.
